Abstract :
A simple technique design to enhance isolation between two multi-band (WLAN/WiMAX) antennas for laptop computer application is presented. The proposed WLAN/WiMAX antenna design occupies 8 × 30 mm2 and is a simple structure comprising a driven strip and a short strip, which provides two wide operating bands to cover the 2.4/2.5 and 5.2/5.8 GHz bands. The two antennas have measured isolation of better than −21dB in the 2.4/2.5GHz band and −25dB in the 5.2/5.8GHz band. The more experimental results and analysis will be described.
