Abstract
Microstrip line-based CRLH metamaterials are investigated to enhance the phase nonreciprocity. The enhancement is realized by extending the width of a normally magnetized ferrite rod at the expense of the characteristic impedance. It is found from numerical simulation that magnitude of the phase nonreciprocity can exceed the magnitude of phase constant in free space.
