Abstract :
In this paper, a novel solution based on Weighted Laguerre Polynomials Finite Difference Time Domain (WLP-FDTD) method is proposed to analyze time domain responses of coupled non-uniform transmission lines which resistance-inductance-conductance-capacitance (RLGC) parameters vary with the position of lines. Different from the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method, the WLP-FDTD method is unconditionally stable. Numerical results show that the proposed method is much faster than FDTD and SPICE without loss of precision.
