Abstract :
A E/Ka dual-band patch antenna with shared aperture is designed in this paper. The antenna contains two PCB layers; the Ka-band patch is at the top of the upper PCB and perforated with four square windows to set the E-band patches; the E-band patches have H shaped slots to reduce the size of the patches, and the E-band patches are fed through T shaped slots at the ground plane. Experimental model and the simulation results are also given in the paper.
