Abstract
This paper develops the method of the locus of a perturbed relay system and demonstrates its application to a controller design. A relation between locus configuration and system performance is derived in the paper. This relation offers a technique of formation of the requirements to the locus configuration and, consequently, a selection of compensating elements and calculation of their parameters. An example of design of the controller for the chattering mode relay pneumatic servosystem is given
