Abstract
A practical flight control system design needs to address multiple performance criteria. This paper presents a new control design method to achieve multiple specifications simultaneously. This method provides a two-stage design procedure: sample control laws are designed to meet individual specifications respectively, then based on those sample control laws, a convex combination approach is applied to find a new controller to achieve multiple simultaneous specifications (MSS). This method is straightforward and easy to be implemented. An aircraft control example is introduced and simulation results verify the effectiveness of this method
