Abstract :
Fractional-order model offers more flexible identification since real systems and dynamical processes are in fractional-order behavior. For that reason, using fractional-order models will give a better description of a given system. The identification using fractional-order model and its application is discussed based on previous researches. Finally, Matlab toolboxes that offer fractional order modeling and control are briefly introduced.
