Abstract :
Based on the study of the interrelationship between the railway carriage abnormal vibration and the track nonsmoothness, this paper detects track´s vertical nonsmoothness by analysing the carriage´s vibrating acceleration using the wavelet analysis. From the results of the wavelet transformation carried out on the real signals of railway carriage´s vertical vibrating acceleration, it is concluded that track´s vertical nonsmoothness can be detected by the approach
