Summary form only given. How can we prepare highly skilled professionals who are adept at information management, collaboration, systemic thinking, experimentation and abstraction? The author considers this and the following questions: (1) What skills will technical coimnunicators need in the future? (2) What role will the technical communicator play in the futirre?(3) How will we teach these skills and prepare for these roles?
