Abstract :
A design of the optimized protection gas porous shunt which is used in magnesium alloys furnace is presented in this paper by establishing the theoretical model of porous shunt and analyzing the numerical simulation of protection gas. This shunt will improve the uniformity of protection gas which is above the magnesium and reduces gas consumption. Meanwhile, it further promotes the development and application of magnesium alloy in all fields.
