Abstract :
The mass flow sensors in a flue gas channel of a bio-fuel fired boiler are few and operate in a harsh environment. The purpose of the here used data treatment system is to identify and correct bad mass flow measurements. The system consists of a gross error detection and isolation algorithm combined with data reconciliation. The data treatment system is tested with simulated data and measurement data from a bio-fuel fired heat and power plant. For simulated data the performance of the algorithm is acceptable for main mass flows
