A framework for ordinal-based image correspondence

We propose a general framework for ordinal-based image correspondence. This framework not only contains Kendall´s r and Spearman´s p correlation measures as special cases, but allows one to design other correspondence measures that can potentially incorporate region-based spatial information. We consider one such possible correspondence measure and evaluate its performance on a set of test images.
