Abstract :
In the frequency domain electromagnetic sounding, because of the terrain and uneven impact of the body will lead to distortion of the electromagnetic curve, which is called static effect. If this is not eliminated in the data processing, it will cause data interpretation errors and even mistakes. Therefore, use the wavelet threshold to de-noising the static of MT data analyze. First, use of modulus maxima of wavelet decomposition and the Lipschitz index to determine the number of stories, and then using wavelet threshold de-noising dealing with it. Through synthetic data simulation were used to compare the different threshold rules: rigrsure, sqtwolog, heuisure and minimaxi. According the values of MSE and SNR, selected the optimum threshold rule to process the MT data.
