Abstract :
The emergence of the software of Google Earth enables Internet users to look around all over the world, meanwhile, it opens a gate for us to enter into realistic applications of Digital Earth. It can be imagined, in the coming future, that high resolution RS image information applications for the regional (such as provincial, or urban) public will step into their ordinary lives. In this paper, study on several key techniques, such as image subdivision, cascading image pyramid, dynamic caching, thread pool, for a large scale regional public image information platform via Internet is presented.
