Abstract :
The authors have built an experimental PM-receiver to gain insight into the difficulties associated with direct-conversion. They found solutions to the problem of LO-feedthrough, quadrature errors and AC-coupling in the IF-strip. The demodulation of AM-interferences remains unsolved
