Abstract :
Hyperghraph as graphical model is investigated to represent a chemical reaction kinetics in chemical engineering. Therefore, directed Hypergraph model is deduced from material and energy balances where vertices represent space variable, input and output variables and hyperedges are the relationship between them. This model is able to rewrite the kinetic rate using power conjugate variables (chemical affinity, rate). Based on causal and structural proprieties of graphical tools a Bond Graph-Hypergraph analog is developed. An example of a reaction with a second order is chosen to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed modeling method.
