  • Abstract
Company knowledge is a key success to predict the future needs, if it explored in a consistent and orderly manner. The actual difficulties in product / process design are linked to information exchange at the right time for the right person, often not exploited because of the heterogeneity of information data. The reuse of knowledge in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is difficult without using a rationalization approach and methodology. In this paper, a new conceptual approach is developed based on contextualization of knowledge to anticipate changes and integration of new technologies in product/process design. A semantic HUB can manage all systems interfaces within an optimized design in a proactive engineering way, reducing errors and product time to market.
