Abstract :
A simulation tool of waveguide iris analysis has been presented using wave iterative method (WIM). The WIM is a numerical modeling for electromagnetic field analysis of microwave circuits. Theories of transmission line, four terminal network and boundary condition are applied to WIM simulation. The mathematical model of electromagnetic wave is described by using GUI function of MATLAB. The simulation tool can be used to analyze the network parameters and to illustrate the electromagnetic field of iris structures. The results of simulation tool and the classical simulation agree well with theoretical result.
