Abstract :
Service-Oriented Architecture is dynamic and heterogeneous in nature. The web service is the common technology to implement SOA. Major concerns in web services are their reliability and fault free implementation. There is rapid evolution in web services to meet client needs and full-fill business goals. So, testing is necessary for web services. This paper proposes a novel testing framework to test SOA based services. Our propose testing framework explain different testing aspects like- fault handling, selection of test cases for different versions of the same service and finalize the test cases. The propose testing framework also focuses on test report generation and explain the role of service provider during SOA testing.
