Abstract :
This paper proposes a high dynamic torque/flux digital control for voltage source inverter (VSI) fed induction motors, based on the discrete-time Park´s model, using a predictive reference frame oriented on the free evolution of the rotor flux vector. A geometric interpretation of this method is also given. This new approach represents an alternative solution to the discretization of the field-oriented vector control generally based on the continuous-time Park´s model of an induction motor
