Abstract
This paper investigates inversion of nonminimum phase systems using multiresolution analysis for tracking control. Impulse response of nonminimum phase systems is first decomposed into wavelet basis functions. An efficient representation of the original system is obtained by eliminating insignificant coefficients of wavelet basis functions. A multiresolutional inversion is then designed based on the dual wavelet basis functions to track desired reference signals. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach
