Abstract :
This research shows the development and implementation of a profiling and exchange system in mobile devices applied to a SOA architecture in a Telehealth center in Colombia. The service is directly targeted at profiling the user with a continuous monitoring of variables to generate health monitoring alarms: amount of kilocalories expend and consumed, heart activity, diets, education, among others. The service work over mobile applications for the Android platform and use network communication to connect with a web service to save the information in the electronic medical record of the patient. In this implementation we use mobile applications previously developed for monitoring heart rate and monitoring of physical activity, between others, that have already been clinically and scientifically backed. This whole project is based on the geography of Colombia where in a post-conflict environment the need and the right to access a health system is essential, this works presents a part of this highly viable and functional solution, flexibility and robustness, so here you find how this profiling service improve a complete telemedicine services provide to a Telemedicine health center, profiling and prioritizing the patients, and how it can be apply in a mobile environment.
