Abstract :
In the integration of basic sciences applied to engineering, specifically in the case of mechanic waves, a module with hardware and software applications will be planned and adapted, in order to study transverse and longitudinal waves and project their application to geophysical prospecting seismic methods, which are based on the study of elastic waves propagation in the media. For the study of this type of waves, vibration sensor will be used along with a data acquisition card in order to capture information. The information processing shall be managed with the Toolkit “sound and vibration” from LabView software.
