  • Abstract
    In this paper, we propose near optimal and simplified one-to-one approaches for code time division multiple access (CTDMA) on the downlink of multicarrier communication systems. We also derive a very tight lower bound on the optimal solution. Simulation results show major improvement can be obtained by the near optimal approach, while the one-to-one approach only causes minor performance degradation. We also show that our approaches will converge to the lower bound when the system capacity increases.
