Abstract :
Hybrid energy system is an excellent solution for rural electrification where the grid connection not fulfill electricity demand. Economic aspects of these technologies are major parameter in developing countries for power generation. In this paper, first discusses about distribution of renewable energy for specific location then criterion for selection of hybrid system and power management strategies. Optimal design of a hybrid system is developed using a mathematical models, these models are used to calculate power produced by system. This paper describes about pre-feasibility results for cost of system, cost of energy and percentage contribution of each energy source. Hybrid system is connected to grid. In this paper, we try to give simulated result for hybrid system without battery storage. The grid plays the important role of a backup power component in the hybrid system when the renewable energy resource is not enough to meet the load. Removing of battery reduces the cost of energy (COE) as well as net present cost of system (NPC). Finally gives simulation results using HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Model for Electrical Renewable).
