Abstract :
Concerns a linear adaptive controller based on certainty-equivalence and backstepping design, that promises a level of transient and asymptotic performance comparable with that of the tuning functions adaptive backstepping controller. The paper proceeds with its robustness analysis in the presence of modeling uncertainties. It is shown the “linearity” of the controller guaranteed its robustness without additional modification other than parameter projection
