Abstract
The performance of wireless communication system is greatly constrained by the characteristics of wireless channel, therefore, the need for wireless channel path loss prediction is becoming more and more urgent. A ground wire monitoring system based on ZigBee is introduced. ZigBee wireless signal path loss measurement is conducted in a substation with strong electromagnetic, and the data is fitted by least-squares method, and finally determine an empirical formula based on logarithmic path loss model. The study provides a theoretical basis for wireless sensor network node layout in substation, which has some promotional value.
