Abstract :
The change of urban freight volume has a great effect on city road planning and design. Analyse the urban freight transport volume and the corresponding population of vehicle has great significance for urban planning and making policy. Urban freight volume is affected by many related factors like: population, traffic infrastructure, cultural level, etc. This paper from the view of consumption structure, analyse the changes of urban freight volume by regional consumption and industrial characteristics. Build two different mathematical models based on the history data of urban road freight volume and the consumption data in Beijing. Using statistical software SPSS environment, build polynomial regression model and multivariate linear regression models to analyse the urban road freight volume and the number of freight vehicles in Beijing.
