Abstract
The phase calculation is a powerful measurement technique that allows the reconstruction of 3D profiles from interferograms intensity. Among the methods commonly used for the phase calculation, there are the Fourier method, the phase shift method and the wavelet method. This research is based on the phase extraction from a single uncarrier interferogram using HHT technique (Hilbert Huang Transform). Here, we present a phase calculation algorithm based on the BEMD method (Bidimensional Empirical Mode Decomposition). An evaluation was made in through numerical simulations on simulated and real images, helped to validate and confirm the performance of the proposed algorithm. The main advantage of this technique is to offer a metrology solution tailored to the needs of dynamic analysis.
