Abstract
The passivity-based adaptive stabilization of the average model of a quasi-resonant boost converter is presented. In this study, the important circuit components of the converter are assumed constant but unknown. The adaptive controller is designed based on the well-known “energy shaping plus damping injection” ideas of the passivity-based approach. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the features of the proposed controller
