Abstract :
This paper reviews the performance of state-of-the art silicon transistors, circuit building blocks and radio transceivers operating in the 120-170 GHz range. A system architecture for potential application in chip-chip-chip communication at data rates exceeding 40+ Gb/s is also discussed.
