            Abstract : 
The problem of model reference sliding model control for a class of SISO systems with nonlinear input is studied in this paper. The T-S fuzzy model is employed to represent the nonlinear SISO system. The model reference sliding mode control is designed based on sliding mode control technique. Finally by theoretical analysis, the closed-loop fuzzy control system is proved to be globally stable, with tracking error asymptotically converging to zero. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach
