Abstract :
The results on implosion of multishell liners in the “Angara-5-1” accelerator diode at currents to 3.5 MA were presented. Radiation growth fronts t ~ 3 nsec and the interval shell temperature of 100 eV were obtained. The formation of Z-pinches from continuous and porous media was studied. The new module scheme with p>;6-8 W to modernize the “A-5-1” facility is discussed.
