Abstract
We report the main results of a theoretical study on the excitation of coupled plasma and electromagnetic waves by relativistic electron beams. Investigated is the case of a parametric coupling between the electromagnetic and plasma waves by a periodical rippling of a conducting screen. We also present the analysis of irregular dynamics in coupled BWO.
