Abstract
In this paper, ABAQUS software platform is chosen for the vibration analysis of the Aluminum dumbbell shaped structures. These structures usually vibrate on applying varied frequency range. Hence, for proper analysis of the vibration effect on the aluminum based dumbbell shaped structures, the extent of the deformation on the two structures viz. hollow and solid has been computed. The simulation results facilitate the displacement distribution on these structures with respect to different modes of frequency. Based on these simulation results, the application of hollow and solid structures has been especially explored to prevent galloping in transmission lines.
