This paper overviews actual problem regarding importance of seismic data resolution on geological results and multidisciplinary geophysical research. The results presented in the paper illustrate the different case studies carried out in Poland for conventional and unconventional reservoir aimed at comparison of the methodology applied to different geological settings and formation character.
