Abstract
In the context of globalization, China is becoming one of the most important area to bear international manufacturing transfer. With the rapid development of IT, the impact of IT to manufacturing gets more and more prominent. This article, by referring to some data about industries development all over the country, and based on relevant theories of leapfrogging and application of IT, investigates several enterprises in Zhejiang province which succeed in leapfrogging by using IT. Ways analysis from the perspective of industry of the theme selection serves as the beginning of the article. Then after an overall analysis of leapfrogging the article elaborates the different effect of IT on the up-stream, middle-stream, down-stream of the industrial chain. After that, the author, turning to the perspective of enterprises concerning literature and some experts´ result, deduces the changing ways of Chinese enterprises. At last the article make a conclusion of the mechanism of leapfrogging ways of manufacturing industry in China driving by IT.
