Abstract :
To effectively integrate the logistics resources and improve the operation efficiency of the forth party logistics (4PL), this paper provides a service-oriented 4PL operation mode with the integration of modern service management theory, logistics management and service-oriented computing technology based on the analysis of the requirement of 4PL operation mode. On the basis, the operation process of service-oriented 4PL operation is deeply studied, which includes the process of logistics service encapsulation and publishing, outsourcing logistics tasks submission and planning, logistics services chain modeling and construction, and logistics services chain execution inspection and KPI evaluation. Finally, the enabling technology framework for service-oriented 4PL operation mode is established, which includes the technologies of 4PL operation technologies, logistics management technologies and information supporting technologies. The enabling technology framework provides the enabling technology supporting for the service-oriented 4PL operation.
