Abstract :
In the paper we numerically investigate multiple similarity solutions for the flow of an incompressible micropolar fluid in a porous channel. By introducing similarity transformations, the governing equations are reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations, which are not easy to solve analytically due to its strong nonlinearity. Thus, we employ bvp4c to numerically obtain as many solutions as possible. The effects of the physical parameters on the solutions are studied as well. A complete description of the solutions is presented using graphs of the skin-friction.
