Abstract :
In case of axial piston pumps the contact between the pistons and the opening of the distribution board produces loud noises and vibrations. For minimizing them, the relative position of the distribution openings towards the cylinders has to be modified depending on the input pressure. The paper presents the relations which define the position of the openings and a constructive solution which achieves the adjustment during the functioning of the pump
