Abstract :
A 10-Gbit/s optical asynchronous cell-packet receiver with a fast bit-synchronization circuit has been developed for achieving beyond Tbit/s optical switch. Less than nine-bit fast acquisition time and <1.5 dB receiver sensitivity penalty have been achieved.
