Abstract
This paper will discuss the impact CBM methodology has contributed to in terms of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (Malaysia) Distribution Division asset reliability performance. It will also look into how this methodology has allowed for decision makers to revaluate maintenance strategy based on asset knowledge collected over the years. There is also a discussion on how asset information collected during CBM is used to support the implementation of Condition Based Risk Maintenance methodology that has been recently introduce to State Maintenance units in Tenaga Nasional Berhad (Malaysia) Distribution Division.
