Abstract :
A new method on the simulation of the floating automatic of artillery is presented in this paper. The calculation expressions of floating automatic spring forces and hydraulic resistances are deduced by analyzing the mechanical characters of the artillery. The recoil resistance is calculated in a new way based on the finite element method using the APDL (ANSYS parametric Design Language). During the simulation process, the dynamic coupling effect between floating automatic components and other parts of the artillery have been taken into consideration. Seven running fire experimentation was carried out during which the recoil displacements of the receiver were measured. The effective of the program was verified through the comparison of the results of simulation and experimentation. The method proposed in this paper can improve the veracity of simulation especially in the analytic process of vibration responses of artillery system.
