Abstract :
Component discovery is one of the major activities in component-based software development. How to find and select the required components published and sold on the Internet is likely to become a hot topic in software development. Based on CORBA´s trader service model, a new formal description of components and a new searching method are presented in this paper. This should improve the capability, accuracy and effectiveness of search engines
