Abstract
The authors describe a phantom load system developed by S.L. Electrotech Ltd. for testing electricity meters. The major elements in the phantom load system are as follows: sine-wave generator; six phase generator; phase control; amplitude control; power generation; communications link; and power supply and enclosure.
