Abstract
Information geometry results from combining geometry and statistics. It was found that there are several applications of this discipline in radar signal processing, e.g. CFAR or STAP processing. Another important topic in radar processing is the so called filtering respectively tracking topic. Tracking is the estimation of time series state vectors based on radar measurements and state prediction rules. This paper is devoted to information geometric aspects of these tracking techniques. The aim is to propose new applications, approximation techniques or geometric insights for radar tracking.
