Abstract
The authors report the application of several different parallel algorithms to detect and track moving objects in indoor and outdoor real-world scenes. The algorithms are coded in the Occam language and run in a transputer image processing system (TIPS) which has been designed and built in the Faculty of Engineering at Bristol University
