Abstract :
In this paper, a testbed has been built for subsampling receiver research using software-defined radio (SDR). It comprises of Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP™) and GNU Radio software. A carrier tracking technique has been implemented, and this is essential to make the subsampling testbed works. This subsampling receiver testbed has successfully downconverted signal at 4GHz to baseband, at sample rate of merely 100MS/s, with almost zero error rate. No such SDR-based testbed for subsampling is known prior to this.
