Abstract
This paper provides a unique solution for offering numerous suggestions to design complexity in digital camera products through the position of electromagnetic compatibility. In general, product development is divisible in to four major stages according to the process-concept development, product planning, product engineering, and process engineering-and the critical linkages within and across them. In consequence, all major electric-appliance makers group engineering and planning expertise in separate subunits under functional managers. For the past several decades, digital camera has thrived on leading-edge technology, such as CMOS/MOSFET. And the breakthrough in technology has caused such a paradigm shift as a mirror-less interchangeable lens camera. However, there are remarkably few people who think that the paradigm shift itself creates conditions conductive to changes from complicated to complex in the engineering process. In this paper, Design Structure Matrix is introduced as a step toward understanding such a complexity in the mirror-less camera.
