  • Abstract
We present the in-orbit performance of solar arrays manufactured with silicon, GaAs/Ge, dual junction III-V and triple junction III-V solar cells. We compare data obtained from spacecraft telemetry with performance predictions generated using the Boeing Satellite Systems power prediction model. The results for planar solar arrays show that performance is stable and predictable. In particular, the power output of planar arrays can be predicted to within 2% of telemetry.
